New here, bought my stove second hand about three years ago and it’s been great. It had been running great until yesterday it shut down and now it doesn’t fire and the only light on the panel is the fuel type light lit up red. When I unplug the stove and plug it back in the level lights light up at once and then shut off and the fuel type light flashes through the green, orange, then stays red. Buttons don’t do anything. Just replaced the motherboard with a new enviro replacement but no change. I’ve bypassed the high and low limit switches and the igniter has 35.2ohms. I’m stumped, I saw a couple others ran into this but no one posted any fixes. Any info is appreciated!

I didn't see any operation instructions in the above manual that talks about fuel type light? I would jumper out the wires for the vacuum switch for a test run. Johneh is the Enviro guy and he will see this.

I'm curious- no exhaust fan start up? I'd check wiring connections, being careful not to get shocked. This is an M55C free stander? I'm questioning the power connector to the control board. No flashing error lights? Sounds like a control board, but if its been changed and doing the same thing, either its a connection issue, or something has ruined the 2nd board. I'd also try isolating loads one at a time, the exhaust blower, the ignitor, convection blower, etc. Maybe something is loading the system down. If you find out the reason, please post to help the next person. Good luck.

I concer with Stovelark sounds like the new board may have taken a static charge
Have you tested all the fuses? Are you using a thermostat?

I run it on manual mode, I checked the fuses with my fluke meter and everything seemed fine. I think it may be the daughter board or ribbon cable issue. I’ve ordered one, now just waiting for it to come in. I’m an auto mechanic so I’m not super familiar with house electrical but am capable of decent diagnostic. I did notice that after putting the daughter board back in and plugging the stove in, suddenly no lights at all, moved the daughter back out of position and it lit up. Leads me to believe there’s an issue with it, doesn’t react with a wiggle test though…

It is an insert. I tested resistance in the parts I felt like would cause a back feed or surge and everything seemed in spec. I’m leaning towards the daughter board at this point along with the ribbon cable. I definitely will post my fix once I figure it out. Like I said I found two other threads with the same issue but no fix posted, very frustrating

I forgot to ask about the combustion blower. I re-read your post, and you don't say if it runs. Now after reading more posts I assume it does not run, but wanted to double check.
