Fall Drop?

I did a check of the property today after I was done cutting and noticed some brown in with the green, looks like a sugar maple limb so my question is since the tree is damaged should I wait until fall to drop it.

Drop it now if you have the time.Even if you dont buck it until Fall,it will lose some moisture through transpiration of the leaves while on the ground.I dropped a half-dead Shagbark Hickory in mid May,wasnt near as wet as I'd thought when finally bucking it a month later.
 
If you plan to take down this tree I see no reason to wait until the Fall . . .
