After removing and cleaning the combustion blower, I noticed the motor is held on with three screws that go through a double conical bushing (Looks like a shock absorber) and the one on the lower left (when looking from behind) has more play in it than the other two. I tried to tighten the screw, but it didn't want to go in any farther, so I let it be. Seems like this could be a problem, just want to hear your thoughts.

Wish I would have listened to you fellas/ladies and would have had a gasket at the ready, But as usual I will have to replace that at the beginning of next season. As always, thanks for ant thoughts/help!

Ha! I beat you. I finished my year end cleaning Saturday.

Sorry, can't help with your observation.

Congrats on the 1000th post. :p

Those 3 nuts hold the motor to the hub....those don't need to come off really ever...leave them there those ones alone

Thank you ;)
Always a compliment;) your spelling was right on, grammar on the other hand:pMy wife has been a teacher for the past 28 years, when she corrects me (which is all the time), they are all compliments==c

We are killing slackerpcat's thread, who cares? My wife got her Masters right after we were married, 6th year after 1st son, and library media certification approx 10 years ago. She has a great job as a Library Media Specialist in her favorite middle school. Remember these words Mad Dog, "Behind every great man there is a greater woman." I have a great wife, guess I'm lucky:cool:

Thanks Buddy, I have your number and I appreciate the offer...I am heading out Friday to pick up (hopefully) a 2007 Rhino that I bought off of Craigslist in Geensburg, Pa! If you ask my wife, She would tell you I always say that if I 'F' this stove up, My Hearth.com connection will hook me up! Thanks my friend, I mean Mad Dog! I will have you a case of Mad Dog Tickle Pink when you do come over. One request though, Could you bring your Uncle that gave you the Nickname??;)

Yep... His name is Kenny. (Go figure right?) My Grandfathers name was Ken and my Great Uncle is my namesake.

But I could make arrangements. He lives in Rocky River... He is the comedian that never became a comedian.
