I just started using a different batch of seasoned wood. My box temps are now in the mid 5s into the low 6s....consistently. I haven't measured the flue temps...not yet. I'm sure its up there. How long can my stove sustain this temp without ill effects? Or is this...NG?

thanks....still learning here.

My Lopi Endeavor averages stove top temps between 550F and 600F when it's cruising with a good secondary burn.

Year after year after year after year. 500-600 is a great cruising temp for a steel stove. It can take higher temps but a steady 5 to 6 is an efficient place to run it.
