I have been burning my Morso 1125 for about ten years since i got it. I lived in an old trailer and had done some work to it but this past summer i added on and over the trailer and removed some of the (formerly) exterior walls to open it all up into a common space. I went from 720sf or so to about 2200sf. It has been chilly out so far this winter as it sets in, but i have a bad feeling that my Morso 1125 will not keep up to this volume of space when it is well below zero and windy. I am insulated pretty well, still tying up some loose ends but will get there. With the addition my place is about 28' x 60' with kitchen living room and dining area in the center all open and bedrooms on the end. About 1/3 of the new space is on a second story centered over the whole building. Will a fisher papa bear be the answer for me and my heating needs, or should i look into something else? I hate to retire the Morso, burned a lot of wood through it over the years.
