Hello

I got this oil filter wrench (RiteFit A296) at pep boys for $7.99. I little high!!

If you take the foam padding of the inside it will fit 4" Duravent and 3" Duravent!

Then if you put the Oil Burner Man's "Never-Seez" silver paste on, you will be able to get it of by hand next time!!

See pics below.

Does anyone use anything else??

Been using an oil filter wrench for years. Works like a charm. Just dont tug to tight.

My cap is seven years old and no problem removing
it with just my hand. All I ever do is clean the vent after each ton.

Wow, you have good hands! Do you think I should get a Double T for easier cleaning? Do you have one?

Well after painting the Never Seez on I do not have a problem anymore either.

Maybe because of it's age it twists on and off very easy
and nope it doesn't leak either. Just has one cleanout cap
on the bottom. Certainly am not discounting the never seize.
I'd use it if I needed to just never had to.
