Went to woodshed today and noticed this


Good thing is it's close to the shed

I have a place to lay it down cain't be 10' off :zip:

I know it looks easy I probably will do it myself they usually go wher I want em to; I have a friend coming by next week and I will get another set of eyes on it.

Yup looks like red oak to me.. That is one big heavy tree that needs to come down but I would get a pro too... At least it will be convenient to get it into the wood shelter Oh nice shelter too btw!

I have more baby woodpeckers this year than ever.

Stack up some fire wood around the well, just in case.
Can alway cut off most of the limbs & take it down in sections.
Notch & cut then pull sections with a long rope.
I've done that with a few that were close to the house.
Takes more time, but safe. (if you are comfortable up in a tree cutting) Just stand on the tree side of the limbs lol
PS: don't forget to move the white car :lol:
