I was given an older Pioneer P20 chainsaw 14 inch bar,
1973 vintage best I could tell from what I found on the internet
changed the plug and cleaned the carb, it fired right up
read they had good power for little saws so after running it
for a little while in the shop
I went out into the woods and cut a couple small rounds
chain was a little dull, full chisel chain which suprised me
so now i wanted to test the power, revved it up and
buried the bar into a felled trunk, leaned on it with all 6'3" and 260 lbs
saw went right thru never bogged or slowed down
pretty impressive for a little saw cant wait to see what it will do with a sharp chain.

well ive done some more research and found out
it is a 51cc powerhead
sand cast magnesium cases
ball bearing internals
came with a 16-20 inch bar
3/8 .058 chain
made in canada
partner bought out pioneer
and poulan bought out partner
and shut it down

No picture, didn't happen.

I'll congratulate you after you prove it. ;-)

Ja, a Pioneer like that one was the first saw I used. Moved up to a Partner R17 as my second saw.
