our local sportsman club had a portion of the property logger and had the logger clean the paths to the wood up so we could get in to it they took mostly cherry some pop. and hard maple I took my 2wd ford ranger and cut 2 loads today I have never had it so easy just back up beside it and cut away would cut more but have 2 split this first

Great score need Pic's

I say haul all you can while you can. There will be time to split later. That might explain why I have a huge stack of wood to split

Wise words. You don't always have an easy opportunity to fill your truck up.

I agree - get the wood while you can. I enjoy splitting for a half hour or so a day, so a pile of rounds in the yard is nice to have.

i feel the same way, get what you can get now and split later! ;-P
