Pine and oak.

You asked for guesses? Black oak on left and Mulberry on right. It is tough to do more than guess without more picks.

OK. Sorry it took so long. These 2 pieces are from the same tree. I am almost positive the tree was a KY coffeetree. The top came out of it a few years ago and I cut it down this week. The top 12 feet or so was rotten and not iseable. I still got 38 rounds from it that were 15" thick and 20 to 24 inches dia. Trees are a lot taller when laying on the ground, at least this one was. The difference in the bark was very intriguing as they are very different, or they appear that way to me anyway. Here's a few more pics. The 2 previous pics are the same ones that are turned over in this set of pics and the rounds are distinctly different as well.

Here's one of my stacking areas. This was before I brought the other 26 split rounds up.
