I'm burning hardwood pellets (Tree Cycle) for the first time since I owned my stove,and I have to admit,I like the way they burn.The wind is blowing around 30-40 mph,and the house is nice and warm.I know you get more btu's with soft wood pellets,but I must admit,The ash isn't bad at all,and the glass is staying much cleaner.I have a Harman XXV,and the feed rate is around 2-1/2.What feed rate do others use with hard wood pellets? Just curious.
