I had issues with this stove changing temps for by itself the last couple of months. I've replaced the board and ESP, both Harman products. Nothing has changed. It will run below 2 for ever, but when you go above it 2 it starts to run away heat up by itself. I've had 2 occasions where in the middle of the night it's run up to over 400f which is like 4-5 1 when I left it at 3 and 1 when I left it a 4. Which it ran up to 425. It hasn't been cold enough to run those numbers. Changing the board, it ran 20-50 degrees above the know temps for 3 and above. That's after being off replacing the board. I have to turn it down to 2 for it to"reset", once I did that and it ran on the normal temps for a about 12 hours. The next day running on 3 it ran away again. At this point the tech came by and replaced the ESP. This was Friday. I restarted it and it ran away again once I moved it to 3. I had restarted on 1. Again turned it down to 2 and all was good. Ran it at a variety of temps up to 4, No problem. Saturday night running on 3 it ran away again. Turned it down to 2 ran okay, so I turned it up to 3 a couple of hours later and it immediately started to run away again. So back to 2 until this morning. Turned it up to 3 and is running at 350f 3 hours later. So brand new Harman board and ESP and nothing has changed. I have no idea how to fix this and I don't think think the tech does either. It's pretty useless in this condition. Im going to run it on 3 until I have to turn it off because it's going into the 40s today night and tomorrow. Or it starts running away again. So basically between 2 and 4 I have no control over it. No happy.

It’s not the stove…if you want, I’ll put mine on manual light and take my FLIR temp gun to it and record the numbers I’m seeing…I’ll need to know how often you take the temps on yours and what settings for the sake of accuracy.

That would be great, I check mine hourly. 👍

Ok and I’ll do 1 and feed at 4 to start….leave feed at 4 then 2-3-4….hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday when I’m off
