I have a Harmon Accentra and the hopper lid won't stay open when it is time to put in more pellets. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

Do I have to take off the lid to do this? I have tried to take the lid off and can't seem to get it off. Thanks for your help.

Feeling the Heat
The two detents or catches are held with a piece of steel that you have bent from lack of lubrication (Poor design) . I straightened mine up added a little lube and it works like new. Until i bend the catch again.
