A little more info would help. Stove temp or room temp? And the rest of the settings. Also where you have the probe could effect performance. Some have had better luck with adding in a Honeywell thermo stat. This could also be an option for you. I'll try to find the info and post it for you.
 
stove is set on room temp, sensor is to the side of the stove about 6 ft up the wall, feeder set at 4.... i havent changed anything for 4 yrs. it just started this about a month ago.
