I have a Heatilator Constituiton with the Heat Zone option. The 6" duct from the firebox i have going down into my basement, following a floor joist about 10" then turn up into my kitchen to a floor register i cut in. I used a 6" in-line fan i got from Amazon to move the air and it worked great for about 2-3 fires getting 150 degree heat out of the floor register into my cold kitchen. The problem is the fan stops working after a while. I"ve gone through about 5 fans now from amazon, they all "burn up" i guess from the high heat.
Anyone have idea on a more durable in-line fan that can handle the high temp?
The floor register fan that came with the unit is too big and doesn't work in my situation.
Thanks

Looking over the instructions, it doesn’t look like they show inline fans. Does it run off the regular squirrel cage blower?

I move cold air instead to the stove room with an inline fan. That then is automatically replaced with warm air being pushed out and flowing to the area where I'm sucking cold air off the floor
