In The Woods
Today we milled eight boards, 1.25 inches thick, 8 feet 6 inches long with the smallest being 19 inches wide. I did get to use the new Hi-Lift jack which makes it much easier on the back.

I've been running Canola Oil in the saw oiler then Veggie Oil in the Aux. Oiler, seems to be doing the job.

The area I'll be working in tomorrow is one I've never cut firewood or ride in, the tree I'm milling is blocking the trail that should open up anpther nice spot to cut and ride in.

Never smelled Hemlock that I know of,but always liked the smell of fresh milled White & Southern Yellow Pine & Douglas Fir.Even Pine-Sol is nice around the house. LOL if I had a good comfy sleeping bag I'd try a night or two in that coop, until the livestock move in.

Just about time for a new stack!
