Just sold some hickory for smoking.
$60 for a 1/4 cord>>> I did split down to smaller sticks.
$50 for 1/6 cord>>>> guy wanted 6 in. chunks which meant I had to chainsaw 12in. Split to 6 in. Chunk. That was a pita!
Lots of labor for the $.
 
Does that mean you had to split parallel to the grain to get the 6" chuunks? That sounds tough.

On a personal note, I just had barbequed ribs AND wood-fired pizza in the same week!
I do like the wood-fired pizza.
 
Touching wood in any fasion is lots of labor....Congrats on the sell and there will be alot more it is the season!
