So I just realized I bought an aftermarket OAK hose for my Harman to go over top of the OAK port at the back of the stove and the factory Harman hose is pushed inside of the port. Is it ok doing it this way or should I buy a smaller diameter hose? I’m new to pellet stoves but I’m assuming the stove uses the air intake port for air regardless if it has a hose hooked up or not. I just want to make sure the hose being inside of the port isn’t actually serving a function like keeping a flange open for the air intake to actually work. Thanks!
