I thought I read that the outside pipe on Duravent stays cool. What do they consider cool? I just installed my stove last week so I'm not sure what to expect. The pipe is hot to the touch. You can put your hand on it but only for a few seconds.
Same with my PelletVent Pro. Directly behind the stove, very hot and a few feet up the pipe hot to touch also but the heat reduces further up the pipe.
Weird. Simpson duravent (not pro) here and I can keep my hand
on the T without getting burned. Got a 1 ft 3" pipe going from stove
into the T which is 4".
