We are finishing out the upstairs area of our 24 x 36 2-story garage with 3 bedrooms, one bath and a family room area. We would like to use hydronic baseboard for the heating source but one unit would end up behind our couch in the family room. Not really sure, but this doesnt seem like a good thing. Looking for comments and experiences with such situations. Thanks.

P.S. - Due to the layout of the room, this spot is the only one to put both the couch / baseboard.

the baseboard needs to get air flow into the bottom and allow it to flow out the top and up behind the couch. If the couch blocks the air flow below or above you will not get much output.
