Pellets you sick freaks!!

These came out of a few bags of Independance pellets, I can't believe there have been 0 auger jams.

Am I a winner or does anyone have longer ones???

Is it length or girth that makes a pellet? Hmmm how about Density? You do not want a pellet that can not make it into the tube.

Eric

Hmmm, I think we'll have to move this thread to the "Hearth.com After Dark" section!!!

As long as they are not shaped like a POM bottle..........

It's not the size that matters, it's the BTU's............

I buy Dirk Diggler brand wood pellets, personally.

It's not that long but it leaves one hell of a dent.

Oh, we're talking about pellets...

This is such a boy-centric thread it's not even funny. :p

hmmm....well, I guess it all comes down to what you actually PREFER......its a big debate.....length? girth? or maybe even how they are used. Some say its not the size or length, but how they are used (not talking from experience here or anything....)

If you have access to a pellet machine and a smooth touch, when you shut one down for adjustments you can sometimes pull a pellet out of the entire length of the die without breaking it. Like this picture. But it would be impossible while it's running.

I think we need a more precise measurement!

Wow, that's one excited pellet!

Had a whole ton of pellets this long last year. Only had a couple bridging shut-downs. Had to run with the feed plate all the way open, but I got through them.
