Haven't cut for over a year. Decided I better get started on 2015 wood, considering its all red oak. Only spent about 6 hours dropping a few trees and cutting them up. Nice to be able to bring big logs to the processing area.

Supposed to rain tomorrow but the weekend should be good to split up the roughly 5 cords that I plan on building into a holtz hausen (sp?).

Amazing the work saved by a grapple bucket.
 
3500 lbs?? Just taking a guess. The old Red Oak carries allot of wieght in log form.
 
Thats the way I like to do it too. Hard to say for sure but most likely 2500+
