Do a search for prefab insert...lots of discussions, good background info.

Buck Stoves does, I have a model 21.

Several companies make inserts that can be installed in qualified prefab fireplaces. The size of the firebox is usually the gating factor in choice.

In my case, I called the manufacturer of my prefab zero clearance fireplace. They said no insert or hearth stove was permitted. So, my prefab is gone. It was very easy to get out and I reused the chase for the new chimney and stove. It is a relief. I am glad I had no choice and am rid of any future complications from having an insert in a prefab. YMMV
