Hello, I have read many posts about inserts but I am still confussed. I am not sure which will work with my Heatilator E42 model. That what was here when I bought the house new and have never ever burned any wood in it. Just like everyone else I am looking for alternative heating this year. The house is apporximately 2200 sqft. up and down. Iwould like to get the biggest that I can fit. If you have any ideas please let me know so I can contact some dealers to see if they have them or are back order. I am not sure what measurements I should be taking. I also read concerns about lining up the flue opening. Again, what should I be measuring or looking at. Some that I have looked at are the Quadrafire 3100i/4100i, Lennox Performer A210, Enviro Kodiak 1700 , Regency l2400 and Country Flame 02 or Ovation Bay. I am not sure if any of these will work and what is the biggest that I can go with. All feedback is greatly appreiated.
