In The Woods
After splitting the Beech I picked some leeks for my wife who was making some potato leek soup for tonight which was excellent.

Thanks for the pics Zap. I have never picked any wild ones and now I can at least keep an eye out. I don't know if any grows in my normal stomping grounds but I can look.

Edit: and that soup looks AWESOME. Its making me hungry.

The smell will also tell you if it's a leek, when I drive to the area when picking leeks I can smell it in the air.
