Question:
My wife & I are new to the world of stoves & have been considering a direct-vent propane stove that will vent out directly behind the stove--& yesterday came across the pleasing Jotul's Allagash 3dv II. Would this stove serve to this end? The literature mentions "rear exit capacity", as well as "minimum 9" vertical pipe for horizontal termination".
Answer:
Look at the new lillehammer on the Jotul site. This one can vent directly out the rear without the 9" rise.
