Hello

Does anyone know why the handle on the Jptul 600 is made the way it is...like removable and falls off the door when the door is opened about 1/3 of the time?

I'm moving up from the Castine f400 to the f600 shortly. If this is your only issue I think I'm moving up much sooner .

The handle is meant to be removed to stay cool. I keep mine on the mantle, or on the floor next to the stove.

They make a new piece so you can keep the handle on now.

I think I read in the manual that the handle would be damaged if left in place. Since I use the side loading door the most, it is seldom used anyway.

Sorry i had the wrong stove.
