I have seen a few photos of the Rockland's heat shield mounted but does anyone have photos of it not mounted or a parts diagram of it? Is it mounted to the surround, hearth, or insert? Any info would be great. Just doing my homework for this weekends install.

Welcome JTP, that's a very nice insert. I believe the heat shield attaches to the back of the top surround breastplates, but don't hold me to it.
