There was a bourbon thread a couple years ago. Anyone have any new old favorites? Currently sipping a glass of Woodford. I also have a 100% rye that's aged in wine barrels (heaven forbid!) that makes a very good Old Fashioned IMO.

3.5-4 oz whiskey, 5 ml simple syrup and bitters. Shake with ice and garnish w/ dried orange slice. Not entirely traditional but I like it.
