im on my second day of burning and got the stove going prety hot right now (500 or so)and im getting little drips of water coming from the ceiling box. i have a 6'' single wall pipe going to a 8'' double out side. could this be condensation?

Suppose it could be. Is it dark or murky water like it came from inside the flue, or relatively clean like rain / snow leaking in -or is rain/snow even a possibility based on your local weather? If the flue is assembled in the proper manner so the crimped ends form a funnel which diverts any condensation back inside the pipe? If they're backwards, the pipe will leak.
