ok...dumb question...(i did try to find an answer)...I saw some where that it makes a difference which way you load the wood into your stove. I'm talking about having the ends of the splits either face the sides of the stove vs having them face the door/back of stove. I have a front loading insert. Can someone explain if there really is a difference or not and what the science is behind this?

nevermind...I just found and watched that video on wood burning.....terrible acting - but good info.
