I'm searching for a Manual:
I purchased a fixer-upper Pellefier pellet stove, just as a shop stove.
It was made by Collins Bio-Energy in Tacoma WA in mid 80's. Not sure who finally ended up with this line, but I've search to no avail on finding a manual for this stove.
The controller board is # 121386C by KWM Electronics Corp in Utah. Not sure about that company either. They were a custom Printed Circuit Board Mfg.
Stove had no auger motor, and I fixed that, but I may have a slower RPM than the controller 'thinks. My auger is at 1.6 RPM, and just wasn't staying on long enough (7 seconds). This controller has a couple of switches on back that are for "FEED TIME and CYCLE TIME". I first started running this with a jumper for the T-Stat. Switching the 2 switches (like 'dip switches) made NO differences at all. I then discovered that changing the potentiometer for 'Auger Feed' from 50k ohm's to 500k ohm's gave me a much longer auger run time (10 to 30 seconds)! Also, I finally connected a thermostat and found that the 'dip switches DO have some effect when T-stat kicks stove into Low Mode. This stove has no Low Temp limit switch, and so, if the fire dies, it has no clue. Hence, the potential for feeding pellets into no fire!... I may try to add this feature, so if flame or power dies, controller stays off. Of course it has no auto-lite feature either. My Harmon Pellet Furnace in my basement has all the bells and whistles needed, and I really like this one, so I'd like to get my shop stove a bit more modern.
Serial No.: 134
Model: Pellefier (not Pellefier!)
Patent No.: 4,565,184
I'd be grateful for any help on a manual for the Pellefier or KWM Controller board.
