This year has been the hardest to keep old reliable running ,here in Northern NY, Have kept up with the cleanining ,empty the bin every 2/3days and once a week pull the plates off and vacum out the everything , Problem is that she'll run for aday maybe two and all of the sudden the control light starts blinking red and it goes into shutdown mode where as I have to press stop then press the start and it'll start up once more ,Have been burning Currans Hardwood pellets this year, which are terrible as compared to what I have burned in the past ,usually a softwood blend, theyseem to have been wet at some point and the hit that we used to get isn't there , could the problem be with low combustion of the pellets,or an air leak somewhere ,? , or should I look at replaceing a few things , Combustion fan ,or the other small fan , Or maybe the snap disks as the stove does seem to get hot on the shell , Have been running this stove for15+ yrs, constanly as it's only source of heat in winter , with out any major problems ,and am thinking maybe time for new one or rebuild this summer . The Currran Hardwood pellets (3 tons) were the worst though and went through a ongoing argument with the distributor and even the company over them ,Like I said I have been good on the cleaning since getting the stove , Would appreciate any Ideas

. Lopi have a kinship with englander in that they have a weak combustion blower set up, had to clean mine constantly. took it to my son's and been in his shop. As Rick said a good cleaning and all horizontal pipes, ck your end cap for clogs. let us know how you make out.
