Just watched a segment on the morning news where a bill to give low interest subsidized loans to Maine residents to install geothermal is in the senate. Looking to reduce dependence on foreign oil. Sounds like the 70's all over again. Why the US couldn't learn that lesson the first time around is beyond me.
