Does the Englander 30 gets its secondary combustion air from the same supply as the primary combustion intake? I was going to put an OAK in and wanted to make sure it would be worthwhile. Thanks.

Nope. Secondary air comes in through a hole in the bottom of the stove body right behind the primary intake tube. That is why they say you can only use an OAK with the pedestal. With the ped I believe all air comes in through the back of it so both would get air from the OAK but not sure since I have the leg model.

PS: It isn't New Englander. Just Englander.

Don't know. Seen a lot of references to "New Englander" stoves here lately.

Nah. You have to blend in with the rest of the class.

I seen a boy in class that printed a shirt like that out on his computer and then pasted it to himself. I figured him for an idiot. Didn't have no way to roll up his skoal can and smokes in his shirt sleeve then.

You were 17 while you were in 8th grade???

By my recollections I was either 17 or 32. Which one would you admit to?

If your dad used to walk you to school, because your were in the same grade you might be a redneck.

actually , you can use an OAK with both pedistal or leg configuration, might look funny with legs though as theres nothing to hide it

How would you incorporate the air intake for secondary combustion then?
