Maybe they will be a descent supplier, that will sell there product at a fair price. By the time most pellets reach Alaska, the shipping cost has it around $300/ton or better.

This could be a good thing for the pellet market up threre. It will help even out the high prices. Or, er, uh, Maybe... One would hope. $320 a ton is almost Double what I pay here.
 
I was mostly justified for cleaner air , cleaner than diesel I guess.
But there is enough natural gas on the north slope to fuel Alaska for generations. We just can't get our politicians to allow a pipeline to be built.
Just as bad as DC politicians.
