Ok, not brand new but I am picking up a like new used 371XP w/ 24" bar from a fellow Mainer on AS.

That has to be the best looking 11 year old saw in the world. Congratulations!!
 
That saw ever get used? Looks almost new! Should last you a lifetime too...

The muffler mod looks simple enough did he mod the intake and rejet the carb as well? When I had my bike I did things like that just be careful to not lean out too much or you'll cook the engine...
