New Year Old Wood

Started the New Year bucking up some downed sugar maple in the same area. Pictures 2377 & 2378 are the first sugar maple, 2379 & 2380 was a rotten sugar maple I moved from the trail, 2381 & 2382 are the next two sugar maples I bucked up and 2394 & 2395 I loaded up 2381 & 2382 and headed home and the last is the rotten sugar maple.

It was a warm day with some wind which made it nice. The trails are muddy so I'm ready for some colder temps with some snow so I can pack them down again.

Cold should be coming your way Zap. The temp here went from 58 at midnight, to 29 by 6 am. It is 26 now and supposed to drop into the teens.

Ya, it's coming. 19 here with just a tad of light snow. Yesterday and last night was really windy too. Supposed to be windy today but not as bad.

Just need the cold weather so the trails freeze up again, it was getting muddy and worse than spring.
