Question:

My father and I are looking for an oil burning insert to replace our current wood burning one. We have a wood insert and are unhappy with its inefficiency and the hassles of hauling around wood to burn. Can you recommend an efficient- yet cost-effective solution? Is there an oil burning inset on the market?

Answer:

There are starting to be some of these units on the market- but I have no experience with them. Certain European companies are bring them in to the US.

The company at the link below, Napoleon, imports a line a Oil stoves from France. You can also do some searching on google for others.
