Hi guys. New member with a question. I've found a lot of answers on here already but can't come up with anything for this one.
I have this older Lopi wood insert with an exhaust vent I haven't seen before. I'm unsure if I can make it work with a liner or not. I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it. It looks like it just slides into the fireplace and vents right out the top and that is it. Is the sliding part used to control the heat somehow?
Thanks for any info
Chris

Welcome bunny. That link is not working. But guessing at what you are looking at, it sounds like a bypass damper for when one is loading the stove and not for controlling the fire.
