I want o build a patio behind the house this year and at one end the plan is to build a nice outdoor fireplace with a food serving area between the fireplace and the house maybe 6-8 ft countertop. on the other side i want to build a fixed cooker or smoker probably not masonry but i am not closed to that idea and i am just trying to come up with ideas for a well designed cooker or smoker. So does anyone have any ideas or pics.
 
I'll try and get a pic, but my neighbor, a great welder (necessary for this project) built a stainless steal smoker that looks like a old time train engine. The "boiler" part of the train is the fire box, Where the engineer stands is where the food goes. It is too cool. If I can get over there in the next few days I'll get you a pic.
