Question:

I'd like to add a vent for it to draw combustion air from the outside. What is available for this purpose and what is involved in installation? What is the approximate cost?

Answer:

Masonry Supply yards may carry some devices to do this. It will involve breaking thru the masonry to the outside and installing a door/hatch to bring the air in. Often this installs into the current ash dump area.
