I have an old GloKing pellet stove. My friend replaced the auger motor and it drops em in the pot to fast . The stock rheostat knob (I think that's waht it's called) doesn't seem to make much difference. Any way to replace it or adjust it?

Sounds like you have the wrong motor then.... get an OEM part.

Sometimes people thing the stove is feeding to much when it is that there is not enough air to fuel to burn up the fuel fast enough.
Could be the flue is blocked
Combustion blower is not working correctly
Ash traps full of ash
Ash door and or front door not making a seal.

You might want to time the auger feeds.
Remember the Feed rate control on a pellet stove does not change the speed of the auger only the Rate IE the On and Off time.
