other then the material if i were thinking of one does it require the same install as a wood stove? liner etc etc etc or is it much less hassle
 
Depends on the install. If the wood eater is already there? You could adapt the pellet eater to the existing vent. As long as its up to code.

Fresh installs for the insert you would really only need a 3 or 4 inch liner. Thru the wall installs there is L-vent or pellet vent pipe which is also 3 to 4 inch. You don't really need the 6 to 8 inch like a wood eater. But if you already have it you can generally adapt.
