So. NH
Does anyone know where to buy good pellets in New Hampshire and what kind? I'm hearing that NEWP will not be making soft pellets any longer. Warm Front doesn't sell to NH. Cam amyone offer any suggestions? Thanks everyone!

Try Agway, that's where I got mine this week. I think they should be about finished filling there pre-orders.

I'm in So NH too, we went with pelletsales.com. They delivered 4 tons to us about 5 days after we made payment. The delivery charge was high, IMO, but the transaction was super easy. $289/ton for Clean Fire pellets plus ~$32/ton for delivery. The more you buy, the more you save on the delivery charge, btw.

I placed an order with pelletsales.com on 9/14.

No pellets yet. I called them yesterday and they said I would be getting a call today to set up delivery. No call.

Hmm....

When I placed the order, I selected drop-off OK. They wouldn't have to call.

I still haven't been charged for them. Don't think they'll ship until they take my money.

Call up pelletsales.com, they are in Goffstown.
I ordered and then backed out of everything.
I asked them to waive the penalty which they did.
I spoke to them on the phone.
They might be able to tell you when and if.

I paid by check to get the slightly better rate, since I actually work right near the pellet sales office. I just dropped off the check on a Monday, they called and delivered by Friday same week.

I have had very good communications with the folks at pelletsales.com. They even held off my delivery while I was away on vacation for two weeks. Your comments are right about the cost of pellets too! I paid the equivalent per ton in btu's of what I paid for oil in January of 2006. I also paid for my pellets in May, so that is how I managed a "better" (but IMHO High) price.
My point is the cost of pellets is tracking oil a lot more closely than many of us would hope.
Is it true that the wood pellet manufacturers are shipping product to Europe?

P.S. I had to fire up the oil burner for the first time of the season this evening. Outside temp is hitting 40. I'm in a fleece, the Mrs is under a blanket and I told th ekids to find their flannel pj's. I could go outside an enjoy a bonfire of pellets!
