I have a Pp130 and the lid switch went out. I made a jumper wire to bypass the switch and in the process I fried the fuse (long story highlighting that I am a dummy) anyway I replaced the fuse and fired it back up and it immediately started dropping pellets. The problem was the auger didn’t stop. It almost filled the pot so I turned the dial off and it still dropped pellets, so I pulled one of the wires from the vacuum switch to kill the auger.

Anyone have an idea why the auger ran continuously?

more than likely when the wires were “shorted” 😔 it sent amperage through the board and one of the weakest links was the auger control/triac

They don’t like stray voltage, sorry for the confirmation 😔

There are 4 triacs mounted near or on an aluminum heat sink. 1 of them is shorted closed. But no telling what happens when it is replaced. May have more issues

Always unplug stove when you work on it👍
