Propane tanks good deal?

Found a guy selling 3 propane tanks listed as 100lb for 50.00 each does that sound good?
What volume would a 100lb tank hold, seems like most are rated in gallons instead of lbs .

Those would be way too small to be useful. Even 100 gallon tanks are too small to be of much use in storage, except maybe to help with preheated DHW.
