We have checked all the safety switches, fuses, etc. As we were checking the switches it was noticed a tap or two on the control box started it the stove again. The stove will run for a minute or so, then shut itself down again. You can not start it again using the safety button, but must tap on the control box. Has anyone run into this problem before and what did you discover was the solution. A new control box is about 400 and when looking into the box we find lots of diodes, etc in there all of which are .10 items at an electronic store. I am not sure, without guessing, what inside would cause a tap or two to make it work.

The stove is otherwise like new and not used much except on holidays. would like see it run rather be an ornament.

Thank you to anyone that can give us some assistance.

A cold solder joint on the control board. Not a bad diode, a diode wont act that way. hold the control board and using a non conductive tool gently press on the solder joints , see if you get it to kick in... and out...
