I am going to install a new liner this weekend. The top cap that holds the flexible SS liner says to put a bead of caulk on the existing flue to hold the top cap. My question is is the caulk just regular caulk or does it need to be high temp? If it is high temperature, where do you purchase it. Thanks in advance. I will post pictures next week of the install.

It doesn't have to be a high temp RTV caulk. Use a good quality silicone like GE Silicone II or equivalent.

Thanks for the response. I can pick that up at HD tommorow. Jeff
