Man, those Home Fire logs are pretty pricey fuel. :bug:

Wood fiber at that MC has about 8000 BTU/pound LHV. A 1900 pound pallet would contain about 15 million BTU... just over half the BTU in a cord of shagbark hickory at 20% MC. Comes out to $1034 for the same heat energy as $150 worth of shagbark. Only an eight-hour burn as well.

My crystal ball says not a single log of that stuff will ever be burned in my stove. ;-)
